The backpack is unlined, but the vegetable-tanned leather is very sturdy. This means you can walk with it on your back with both hands free to do whatever you want.
PS Iso-Kraaseli is an island off the coast of Raahe. It features an old lighthouse built in 1852, as well as a pilot's house. The inspiration for the backpack came from the idea of the pilot crews who, with their provisions in their backpacks, set out to guide ships from Raahe to the world's oceans and back to their home port.
